Networking

The network side of a DediGPU server: port speeds, the public IPv4 and reverse DNS, extra addresses, private VLANs, 25 Gbit/s uplinks, free egress, and what is filtered.

Each server has a public port, one IPv4 and no meter on the bytes. This page lists what you can add and the few things we filter.

Port speeds

Consumer and workstation cards
10 Gbit/s, upgradable to 25 Gbit/s for $60 per server per month
PCIe data-centre cards
25 Gbit/s included
SXM and OAM nodes
100 Gbit/s included, plus 3.2 Tbps InfiniBand between eight-card nodes for clusters

Addresses

One IPv4 from our own space with reverse DNS set to the server hostname; change the PTR from the server page. Up to eight more addresses at $3 each per month, routed to the server, with their own PTR records. Addresses are released when the server is cancelled.

Private VLAN

$25 per server per month adds a second interface on a layer-2 segment shared by your servers in the same region, isolated from the public port and from other tenants. Use it for storage traffic, a private Kubernetes network or a database the Internet should not see.

Egress and traffic

$0 per GB, in and out, at port speed. The transit share is a line of the cost sheet. Sustained saturation is fine; if it measurably hurts other tenants on the same switch we will talk to you first.

What we filter

  • Spoofed source addresses (BCP 38).
  • Outbound TCP port 25, closed by default. Open a ticket with the purpose to have it opened.
  • Nothing else: no firewall, no port filtering, no deep inspection. Firewall your server.

Attacks

A volumetric attack against your address is blackholed upstream until it passes, usually within minutes, to protect the region. Application-layer filtering is yours to run.

IPv6

A /64 per server on request from a ticket, at no charge, in every region.

Try it on a real server.

One month, at cost, root in under 5 minutes. Support opens with the first server.
